Food processors and creative marketing slogans with colorful pictures and fun words can win children over at an early age by getting them addicted to sugar. As a result, childhood obesity in the US continues to be a growing problem.. literally. And YES, some foods can become very addicting. Go back to the healthy basics. Make the majority of your grocery shopping come from one main department: fresh PRODUCE!! Food products these days are stocked full of genetically modified ingredients, chemicals, and additives. If you have a box, can, bag, or bottle.. check the ingredients list, food label, and nutritional values for each serving size. Control the amount of food you prepare/portion out for your youngsters, and yourself.. then you can begin to save your own lives, through healthy eating.
